Inheritance Investigations
Hereditary Axis
Investigative section dedicated to investigations for private individuals regarding succession and inheritance
The Alpine Investigation Agency has been carrying out inheritance and inheritance investigations since 1992. The inheritance represents all the assets, which are transferred to the heirs upon the death of the deceased. Thanks to it it is possible to define which assets, obligations and rights are to be divided among the heirs. Identifying the assets belonging to the deceased person can be of fundamental importance as the identified assets will be the subject of division between the heirs. Relying on an investigative agency allows you to reconstruct the assets that are part of the inheritance.

Inheritance: the different types of wills
Holograph Will: it is written by the binder in his own hand, it must be dated and signed. In this case the presence of witnesses is not necessary and it can also be kept in one's own home, or alternatively entrusted to third parties or a notary.
Public Will: it is a document signed and drawn up in the presence of the testator, the notary and the witnesses. It is kept directly by the notary. The public will is the only one that can be drawn up by anyone who does not know how or is not in a position to write.
Special Will: can be drawn up only in case of imminent danger to one's life and relative impossibility of going to a notary or writing a deed in one's own hand. The special will can be delivered, depending on the circumstances, for example to the justice of the peace, notary, mayor, by a military officer but always in the presence of witnesses.
Secret Will: only the binder knows the contents, it is delivered to the notary already closed and sealed. This happens in the presence of two witnesses. The same can be written in one's own hand and signed at the bottom but it is also valid if written by third parties or on the computer provided that it is signed on each sheet.
Inheritance, what happens in the absence of a will
In the absence of a will, the law takes over and the inheritance will be divided among the heirs based on the shares established by law. This occurs following an order that depends on the degree of kinship between the heirs and the deceased.
- The first to inherit are the spouse and children, in the presence of the spouse and only one child the inheritance will be divided in half between the two. If there are more children, the spouse will be entitled to one third of the estate and the remaining two thirds will be divided equally among the children; Then the relatives up to the sixth degree; If there are no closest relatives up to the sixth degree, the estate is devolved to the State (this possibility occurs only if the deceased had Italian nationality, there is no will and there are no legitimate and legitimate heirs, according to the dictates of art. 572 cc)

Inheritance and Inheritance Investigations
Always taking into consideration the objective that the client wants to achieve, the investigation activity is structured, structured in this case to identify the assets that are part of the inheritance. Such as: research and analysis activities at registers and Chamber of Commerce, identification of real estate properties at national level, any registered movable assets (for example vehicles), etc.
These activities are carried out not only through conventional investigation techniques but also through the use of Osint-based intelligence techniques (Open Source Intelligence). At the end of the investigations, an investigative report is drawn up which can be produced in court.
